Air Gun Marksmanship Pro-gram:
Jody Boos, Connor Hunt and Bobby Edwards have successfully completed two 6-week
sessions of the new Air Gun Marksman-ship Program with the Fresh After school students of
Twin Valley High School.
The next scheduled classes will be held in March and run through the year. BE SURE TO SIGN
UP WITH THE WINGS/FRESH PROGRAMS at school.
Student’s will be competing in a tournament by year end. TBA (Trophy’s donated by Marv Neu-
man.)
The Board of Directors and Officers meeting was held at 6:00 pm on January 9, 2012.
Due to unseasonal weather conditions it was voted to move the Annual Harriman Reservoir Ice
Fishing Derby to the weekend of February 25th & 26th.
(Originally we scheduled for February 11th & 12th.)
As of today’s date there is still open water at the south end of the Reservoir. The original Dates
would be only a month away and not worth taking a chance hoping for enough cold weather.
Derby Flyer soon to be in stores and ticket outlets.
Note: February Meeting will be held at 121 Sadawga Lake Road, Whitingham, VT. Club house
winterized for rest of January and February.
The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen’s Club will be sporting a brand new trap machine for the start of
the Trap shooting season in April 2012 dedicated to the memory of Bill Cox, President.
Memorial Gifts have been sent
to the DVSClub to assist in the purchase of the machine. Thank you to Marv Neuman and Jack
Steiger for steer heading the committee to follow this project to the end.
Any body wishing to donate to this cause can do so by sending a
gift to Deerfield Valley Sports-men’s Club Trap Committee P.O. Box 1360, Wilmington, Vermont
05363.
Thank you!

DVSClub- if we all “get 1 or 2” it will increase in every way. Thank you for your help!
